Description

When you install JMP on a computer running Mac OSX and you try to run the software, you might see the following message instead: "Sorry, this copy of JMP has expired. You will need to reactivate with a new serial number to use JMP" but, there is no choice for activation: the only choice is Quit.

Solution

The problem occurs when you install JMP 7 on a computer that previously contained the JMP 7 demo.

To circumvent the problem, go to the directory folder: /Users//Library/Application Support/JMP and delete the file License.plist

After you delete the file, start JMP, and it will proceed with activation.
