Description
I have successfully downloaded the 'download client' and when I run the file and attempt to download, I received a SDC00400 error. What can I do? |
Solution
This error message occurs when the delivery client is unable to connect to the download server.
After downloading and running the small executable, the client will try to connect to the web address configured for the product you are attempting to download.
In most cases, users who run into this error will experience this due to a firewall or third party application that is preventing the client from connecting to the internet. If this is the case, we recommend that you allow the delivery client to access the internet or temporarily disable the firewall for the duration of the download.
Other possible reasons may be due to a proxy server, which is sometimes the case on campus networks, or if you do not have an active internet connection.
If you are certain that this issue is not being caused by one of the items mentioned above, you may want to contact your site administrator to verify that the product has been properly configured.
